Pictures of a recent bathroom remodel in Mystic, CT. We completely renovated the master bathroom of a home where we removed all of the fixtures and re-designed the room adding new fixtures, plumbing, a heated floor system and BEAUTIFUL custom tile shower with glass door.
We are showing pictures of the previous bathroom layout and then pictures of the new layout side by side. The biggest difference besides all of the brand new fixtures is how bright and airy the room seems now. Plain and simple this project exceeded our expectations and looks absolutely fantastic!!!

New layout - Old shower and door removed, plumbing switched sides, and the shower grew to 5' wide and was a custom "mud-job" shower with marble corner shelves. The wall on the left became a half wall where the glass door sits on as it wraps around the corner. All new brushed nickel Kohler plumbing fixtures. |

New layout - Brand new vanity that moved closer to the window to make room for the 5' tile shower. A custom made marble double bowl vanity top and a Kraftmaid cherry wood vanity with peppercorn stain and slow close hinges for the drawers and doors was added. Brushed nickel Kohler faucets. |

A brand new 6' alcove by Americh. We had to go to an alcove tub to make room for the 5' shower. Instead of a fiberglass apron we framed it in and tiled it. The old wall tile surround was removed and new tile was added to match the room's decor. Plumbing had to be moved from the center of the tub area to the right hand side. A Kohler tub filler in brushed nickel was installed in the platform we built to the right of the tub. |
